Lifetime: a 7-day money-back guarantee
Within 7 days of paying for Lifetime, you can get back everything you paid — for any reason. Use the refund button on your Billing page (or in the app); no need to explain. Your plan and access end straight away and any calls you’ve booked are cancelled.
The 7 days start when you pay, not when you sign up or meet your advisor. After that, Lifetime isn’t refundable.
Once per person, and once per card
The guarantee is for someone trying Borderly for the first time. It doesn’t apply:
- to a plan bought after an earlier Borderly plan of yours was refunded;
- to a plan paid with a card that has already had a Borderly refund on another account;
- to a complimentary plan (a 100% promo code) — nothing was charged, so there’s nothing to refund.
If you think one of these has been applied to you by mistake, message us and we’ll look.
Monthly: no refunds
Payments on the monthly plan aren’t refundable. It costs $29 a month and renews until you cancel, with a 6-month minimum: the first 6 payments are a commitment. You can cancel any time with “Cancel my plan” on your Billing page — inside the first 6 months the plan then ends after your 6th payment; after that, at the end of the month you’ve paid for. You keep access until then, and nothing more is charged.
The 6-month plan, no longer sold, has no refunds either: it renews every 6 months until you cancel, and cancelling stops it at the end of the period you’ve paid for.
If a payment fails, your access pauses until it’s paid. If it can’t be collected, your plan ends; payments already made aren’t refunded.
Plans bought before 8 October 2026 keep the 14-day guarantee they were sold with. Plans bought earlier on monthly payments keep their terms too: after the 14-day window they’re a commitment to all their payments, and charges stop by themselves after the last one.
What a refund covers
Only what you paid Borderly. Rent, deposits, a lawyer’s fees, phone plans, government fees and anything else you pay someone directly never pass through us, so we can’t refund them — ask the provider. Borderly takes no commission from anyone.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, in US dollars. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. If your card is in another currency, the amount you see may differ from what you were charged because of exchange rates, and any fees your bank charged aren’t refunded by us.
If we close your account
If we close an account for breaking our terms — abusing staff, for example — you aren’t charged again. Payments already made aren’t refunded unless a money-back guarantee still applies or the law requires it.
Your rights
Nothing here affects any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
