The short version
Borderly uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and — only if you allow it — one to remember your timezone. No advertising cookies, no tracking across other sites, and nothing is sold.
What we store
| Name | What it’s for | Kind | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| borderly_session | Keeps you signed in. Only a random code; it can’t be read by our pages’ scripts. | Essential | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| tz | Your timezone, so call times are right the moment a page loads. | Preference — only if you allow it | 1 year |
| cookie-choice | Your answer to the cookie notice, so we don’t ask again. Stored in your browser, not sent to us. | Essential (local storage) | Until you clear it |
| zone-check-dismissed | That you chose to keep your timezone when we noticed you’d moved. Stored in your browser, not sent to us. | Preference (local storage) | Until you clear it |
Other sites
When you pay, you’re taken to our payment processor’s secure checkout pages, which set their own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. We don’t load advertising, analytics or social-media scripts. Error reports from your browser go to Sentry without cookies and without your name or email; the privacy policy says more.
Your choice
The notice at the bottom of the page lets you allow the timezone cookie or keep to essentials only. To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser and choose again. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but without the session cookie you won’t be able to sign in.
